What we doDNS; just three little letters representing such a critical component of your business. The functionality of DNS provides for availability, but also abets vulnerability. Because of their exposure on the Internet, DNS servers are among the most assailable computers that an organization employs. What appears to be simple is maddeningly complex - a black art of sorts. Everything you do online - whether it be email, domain, or connectivity - is translated through DNS. Because of its inherent vulnerability of DNS is a rising attack vector - as evidenced by the dramatic increase in press coverage on the subject. Are you prepared to fend off a DNS attack? What is your current risk? DNS may very well be every company's online Achilles Heel, but DNSstuff.com stands atop the industry as the ultimate armor. No matter what the issue, if it pertains to DNS, we have the tools and guidance to help you troubleshoot and fixing problems fast. We even help you confirm proper DNS configuration, which is key to your online business health. In today's business environment, downtime is unacceptable. It is costly in terms of revenue, but even more so in terms of reputation. How many potential customers will give you a second chance when your competition is up and running? DNS is based on trust, and is therefore highly susceptible to hackers and infiltrators. DNSstuff.com lives by the credo of, "Trust, but verify." Our innovative alerting services work proactively by monitoring your domain and mail server IP every minute of every day, 24/7/365, to mitigate your risk. It takes just minutes to set up, but it provides invaluable around-the-clock peace of mind. We diagnose, we offer mitigation steps, and - most importantly - we keep you in control. Systematic checks before, during, and after changes propagate is our stock and trade. The companies that depend on us are a clear indication that we stand up and deliver on our promises. Our clients are the leaders in their field, and they have no reason to settle for second best when it comes to DNS protection. Top echelon companies like Google, The Boston Celtics, GoDaddy, Target, TupperWare, F5, Kswiss, Herman Miller, Tufts healthcare, Bank of America, Staples, and a host of other equally impressive firms know better than to take unnecessarily chances with inferior service; they are minimizing the risk of downtime and attack with DNSstuff tools and alerts. If Interpol trusts DNSstuff.com, shouldn't you? Who we are
Rich Person, CEOI can get a bit hyper-focused; even fanatical, about building a successful company. The fact of the matter is, start-up companies demand that level of commitment, that “burn the ships and move forward” attitude. If you get the culture right, attract people who share the vision and can commit along with you, anything is possible. Anything. Full Bio
Charles Stefanidakis, CFOCharlie is the financial steward of our Company and responsible for recruiting much of our Executive team. Sharp as a tack, he saved the Open Environment IPO from being derailed. As demanding as DNSsuff is, he remains a true family man, enjoying time with his five children - and 13 grandchildren - and even finds time to enjoy gardening and landscaping. Someday he'll realize his dream of becoming an astronomer, but for now his financial brilliance is very much appreciated at DNSstuff.com. Full Bio
Anish Dhanda, VP Product Development & StrategyAnish has spent his career solving complex business problems for high tech companies and their customers. He is known for pushing the envelope, everything from competitive soccer to engineering a bungee jump system from hot air balloons. Yup, he even tested it to make sure it works. Well, DNSstuff is happy to have him on their team as their product strategy guy. When he's not teeing up the next "big thing", he is enjoying life with his wife and two children. Anish's favorite escape is the lakes region of Maine and we hear the "Dhanda-Fest" is a lively annual family tradition! Anish believes in karma and never asking anyone to do anything that you wouldn't do yourself.
David Basson, Principal Software EngineerIt's tough to sum up Dave in a single paragraph. The office "nice guy" and a family man, he is proficient on the trapeze (no kidding), has scaled the world's deadliest volcano, aspires someday to become a Particle Physicist, and very nearly went to art school. We're just glad that he shows up to work in one piece every single day (he's never missed a day of work) to dive into code and continually tweak the DNSstuff.com tools.
Randy Morse, Senior Software EngineerRandy is not only a killer developer, but he is a true entrepreneur at heart – having sold a couple successful businesses to date. He always has valuable marketing input and has a colorful creative side. When he is not at his computer, he is covered in grease working on his cars – prepping for the racetrack. This guy drinks more rocket fuel than any human being on the planet. Guess that’s what keeps him on his toes – even with a broken foot!
Allen Landsidel, Senior Software EngineerThere is no technical challenge that Allen can’t figure out. He knows all the tricks. He is our IT warrior. Allen enjoys working on his cars – not sure if he has raced Randy yet?. Allen enjoys music – we think, because the entire building starts shaking when he pulls in. Much of our DNSstuff magic is accelerated by his work.
Kevin Hutchins, Customer SupportA recent addition to the DNSstuff.com family, Kevin helps to make our users even more thrilled with us than they already are, and he even doubles as our System Administrator. A history buff who enjoys the great outdoors and playing the violin, Kevin takes pride in the fact that he still maintains all ten fingers and all ten toes that he was graced with at birth (we're not here to judge his accomplishments). A modest man, he aspires not to be a superhero, but to someday be the faithful sidekick to a famous superhero.
Kelley O'Connell, Director of Human ResourcesNatural born fashionista, photographer and interior designer, Kelley brings it all together with her personal style. She takes HR seriously and doesn’t miss a beat. She enjoys spending time with her two children, husband and 110 pound pooch, Ruby. Kelley is up on music and there is no artist she can’t name in less than 5 seconds. You may even run into her at a local 5K road race up North.
Teyent Tsegaye, Software EngineerTeyent, or 'TT' as she's affectionately known around the office, is a natural born problem-solver. Even when off the clock, she enjoys reading programming books and practicing C#. One of her proudest moments, along with the births of her beautiful children, was achieving her Masters in Computer Science. An outstanding scholar, she was the recipient of an Alumni Award from the Wentworth Institute of Technology Alumni Association. Someday she'll have enough funds set aside to live her dream of an early retirement and returning to the classroom - but this time in the role of teacher.
Dave Barker, Business DevelopmentIf you're stopping by the office, be sure to pick up an extra large hazelnut coffee with cream and sugar for Dave. He brings a ton of industry experience to DNSstuff.com, and he's a walking treasure trove of interesting data. For instance, Dave reminds us that on September 2, 1752, the British Isles and all the English colonies - including those in America - lost 11 days as a result of the decision to adopt the Gregorian calendar. Dave is still somewhat upset by the fact that we'll never recoup those lost days. When not at DNSstuff.com, Dave is likely to be discussing theology, scuba diving, or involved in Massively Multiple Online Role-play gaming (MMORPG). |
